Pearl, schizandra berry, lucuma, and he sho wu are medicinal beauty food in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. This is the area I get super health nerd about. Schizandra berry is known as the quintessential tonic herb, as it is a queen of beauty foods. This berry bring life to the skin! Lucuma is a fruit that acts as a natural sweetener as well as being rich in iron, zinc, beta carotene and minerals to nourish the skin. Lastly, he sho wu is a Chinese tonic herb that helps rejuvenate skin cells and stimulate the growth of hair and eye brows. These herbs are something that I do to invest in my health and glow, and have been used in different cultures for thousands of years!
