Theres a slight chill in the air here in Amsterdam, so bring on all the fall chai spices.
This chai latte is warm, creamy, and filled with spicy chai flavors. However there is something different in this chai latte... mushrooms.... reishi mushrooms.
Reishi mushroom is a form of medicinal mushrooms. No, medicinal mushrooms are not like magic mushrooms... but to each there own. I'll stick with the medicinal ones though. Reishi mushrooms are very relaxation and calming to the mind and body. They reduce inflammation, improve sleep quality and promotes recovery. I love to add reishi mushrooms into my before bed potions, like in the chill out chai latte that I love.
You can drink these mushrooms at anytime, but I prefer to sip on them to wind down. Everyone is different
I find it makes a huge difference in how I feel when I make an effort to reduce my stress every single day. Its the little things like a face mask, bath, taking a walk to clear my mind, or my chill out chai to wind down. Stress takes a big toll on every single bodily function and unfortunately we live in a world of high stress. Stress damages the skin, digestion, hair, metabolism, brain function and many more.

Chill Out Chai
1 cup of your favorite chai tea brewed
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp reishi
1/2 tsp ashwaganda
1 scoop collagen peptides
sweeten to taste (I used monk fruit)
1. brew your tea
2. while tea is steeping add all the ingredients into a blender
3. add tea, the heat of the tea will warm the coconut milk
